About Zakia & NeuroPathways

I’m Zakia Shaikh, founder of NeuroPathways (a trading name of ZS Skills Ltd). I’ve spent around 25 years supporting dyslexic and neurodivergent people in education and at work, and I now coach adults and young people across every part of life. I’m an ICF Professional Member, accredited in ADHD and executive function coaching, with postgraduate qualifications in autism and dyslexia, and I hold an Enhanced DBS check.

I called my practice NeuroPathways because our brains are able to keep learning and adapting at every stage of life. With intentional practice and the right support, new habits and new ways of thinking can become easier and more natural over time. Coaching gives you the space to understand yourself better and find what works for you.

I work with the whole person. My integrated coaching map brings together mind, body and nervous system, and I always look at the bigger picture: overlapping neurotypes, late diagnoses, and the cultural, social and identity contexts that shape how you experience the world. Together we work out what gets in your way and find practical strategies that fit your life, whether that’s getting started on tasks, managing your time and energy, or feeling more confident at work or in your studies. What I love most is witnessing people move from self-doubt and overwhelm to recognising their strengths and building lives that genuinely reflect who they are.

Who I work with

I coach one-to-one online, with clients in the UK and globally. You might be formally diagnosed, self-identified, waiting for an assessment, or just starting to explore your neurodivergence.

Neurotypes: ADHD, autism, AuDHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and co-occurring profiles
Focus areas: executive function (focus, time, organisation), burnout recovery, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), masking, workplace strategies and nervous system regulation
