THIS MONTH’S SPOTLIGHT: BECKY ROBINSON

My name is Becky Robinson, and I am the founder of Clear Horizons ADHD Coaching & Training.

Living with ADHD for over four decades has not only shaped how I see the world, but how I support the people I work with. For much of my life, I didn’t know I had ADHD so receiving a late diagnosis brought clarity and understanding, helping me recognise patterns throughout my life. I have also been a parent carer to three neurodivergent children for over 26 years.

Since 2018, I have supported and represented parent carers while also working closely with local authority teams, NHS commissioners and providers, school leaders, and community organisations. Alongside this, I have held leadership roles that involved leading organisations, managing responsibility, and complex decision-making. I have also set up and run my own ADHD coaching and training business. Working across these spaces has given me a deep understanding of parent carer experiences and struggles, the pressures faced by professionals and schools, and the challenges of holding leadership roles while navigating your own neurodivergence. This breadth of experience has shaped my calm, practical, and down-to-earth approach to coaching.

My ADHD coaching draws on lived experience, evidence-informed practice, and specialist training. I am a qualified ADHD coach and EMCC Senior Practitioner accredited, with additional qualifications as an Emotions Coaching Practitioner and LEGO® coach, and in Neurodivergent Inclusive Coaching. I have been practising as an ADHD coach for over 18 months, building on many years of mentoring and coaching experience across voluntary and professional settings.

My aim is to offer an empathetic, trauma-informed space where people feel safe to unmask, gain clarity, and build practical strategies that work with their brain. Clients often describe leaving sessions feeling understood, more confident, and better equipped with strategies that fit their real lives – whether they are navigating ADHD in parenting, professional roles, or everyday life.
