I am a compassionate, highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a profound commitment to providing holistic care to individuals facing mental health challenges. Over a decade in the field, I have cultivated expertise in various facets of mental health nursing, including psychosis, forensic psychiatry, and eating disorders. My approach is deeply rooted in empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to understand each person's journey. I am diagnosed as Dyslexic. I am currently training as a CBT Counsellor.

Experience

For the past two years, I have been at the forefront of coordinating the Care Programme Approach (CPA)-compliant NHS Care Pathway for individuals navigating episodes of psychosis. This role has allowed me to merge my clinical acumen with a profound sense of empathy, ensuring that each individual receives person-focused care tailored to their needs. Before this, I spent 18 months leading and participating in delivering high-quality nursing care within a Male Forensic Unit, where I honed my ability to navigate complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism.

My passion for mental health extends beyond clinical practice; it drives me to raise awareness and foster understanding in diverse communities actively. With multilingual communication abilities and intuitive interpersonal skills, I strive to build rapport, trust, and credibility with individuals from all backgrounds, cultures, and communities. Whether working with BAME individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, or any other group, I aim to provide impartial, respectful, and compassionate nursing care that transcends barriers and promotes healing.
