ADHD Specialist Coach

About me

I trained as an executive coach in 2021 following a series of life events which made me rethink my future. As a senior leader in the NHS, I had a long and successful career but it was time to rediscover my strengths and expertise to improve my work/life balance. I was thrown into the world of neurodiversity as a result of my 2 adult children being diagnosed with ADHD/autism. It was a relief for them and me as it explained such a lot about their unique challenges and the world around them. However I realised that I had little knowledge about ADHD despite my extensive experience in nursing, teaching and coaching. . I set out to improve my skills and trained as a specialist ADHD coach. I now hope to share my experience and knowledge through supporting adults who are diagnosed with ADHD or have ADHD traits which affect their lives. I am passionate about empowering clients to develop strategies to realise their strengths, overcome obstacles and achieve their potential with confidence and self esteem in a safe and non-judgemental space.

Experience

I set up my coaching business ‘Coaching in the Cotswolds’ 4 years ago following retirement from Nursing. I have supported aspiring leaders in education and healthcare, guided professionals in career transitions and new leadership roles. Providing a safe confidential space to explore and achieve attainable goals, I empower ambitious individuals to unlock their true potential for themselves and the organisations they work with. By helping individuals discover their strengths, clarify their goals, and find courage to pursue their dreams. I became interested in neurodiversity when my adult children were diagnosed with ADHD.I now specialise in ADHD coaching ,reaching out to adults who may be living with or recently diagnosed ADHD or ADHD traits who need coaching and support with the challenges this brings.
